Back in stock: Thousand Empty Light
Thousand Empty Light? It's back, baby.
Sorry, this is going to be one of those quick boring updates, but hopefully a useful one for those of you who have been waiting for a copy of Thousand Empty Light.
Thousand Empty Light is pink now
The zine has had a second printing and is now available with salmon pink covers (and black staples).
A short FAQ:
I already own a copy of the first printing, do I want this one too? You don’t need this, it’s barely different.
What about the acidic pistachio colour of the first printing? That paper stock is now discontinued. All change.
Why is it so expensive to ship to the US? It is what it is, unfortunately. But I recommend you wait until Tuesday Knight Games stocks them in their online store (I’m sending them a big package of stock very soon).
Why isn’t my location listed for shipping? Depends where you are. Please feel free to get in touch.
Are you going to be selling more dust covers? No, sorry, they haven’t been reprinted.
Are you going to be selling more tape cassettes? Maybe one day, but not right now (they’re long sold-out)
Do you have any more Thousand Empty Light patches? Sorry, they’re all gone.
What’s next?
I’m hoping to crowdfund a prequel / companion module to Thousand Empty Light next year. It’s tricky following up this now beloved thing.
In the shorter term, I’m running a Kickstarter in November for Brute Fort, a non-rpg solo card game and accompanying tape soundtrack (by Gus BC who did the Thousand Empty Light soundtrack). Please go sign up for updates, it helps a lot! I’m currently very busy getting this ready.
Also, I’m a stretch goal on
’s Certain Fathoms, a new module that’s part of Mothership Month. Go follow that project too! You’re awesome
I crossed the 1,000 subscriber mark today. I don’t dare check the number again because it’s probably gone down again. But let me tell you that I am thankful for anyone reading this. This stuff really keeps me going, mentally.
Love u x.

Thousand Empty Light was my first foray into playing solo ttrpgs. It was truly mind blowing how fun just playing by myself with oracles was! Thanks for this creation!
