Unironically formatting this newsletter into a zine and putting in my inspiration box so that I come across it every time I find myself struggling with a project.

Thanks, I think I really needed to read this. Great advice presented in a way that made me smile.

Somehow crafts and arts is the only thing I am bad at but proud of. If that makes sense. Obviously I am bad at other things too, and I will often feel bad about that in some shape or form, but any drawing/painting/pot I make I instantly LOVE. In a warped way my own poor skills 'surprise my brain' because it's often not quite what I intended to make, but think it is perfect regardless. Now, to extrapolate that thought process to the rest of my life...

This is great example! Being able to surprise yourself with what you make is really valuable and can lead to really unexpected places.

Thanks for writing this. Between your writing and Miscast videos, I start to feel as though I can finish things. Great advice for creative things, and just life in general.

I still remember the first time I realized I didn’t have to write in the order a piece is going to be read.

It’s so obvious, but you still need to learn it
